SKIN SHORT: Aspirin or another anti-inflammatory (if you’re not allergic). Cold compress. Dark room. Water.

MORE SKINFO: ASK YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE TAKING ANY MEDICATIONS. If you’re not allergic, take an aspirin or anti-inflammatory immediately and repeat after 4 hours. Stay in a darkened room. If you need to go out, apply a non-chemical (more correctly called, inorganic) sunscreen like Armada Baby 50+ or Post-Procedure Barrier Cream 50+. Drink lots of water. Try a Virgin Coconut Oil-and-cold water compress which has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.

If you’re blistering, see a doctor immediately. (The Big, Brave Boo-Boo Balm can help in the meantime).
